01. Excavate
We dig deeper than standard gardeners. Removing organic material entirely to reach a solid substrate (250mm+).
02. Membrane
A vital separation layer. This prevents your sub-base aggregate from mixing with the soil below, preventing sinkage.
03. Sub-Base
We use Type 1 MOT (Dept of Transport approved), compacted in layers using heavy rollers. The skeleton of your project.
04. Laying
Laser-leveled installation on a full mortar bed or sharp sand screed, ensuring perfect water run-off gradients.
