Choose plant for the task
Describe the operation and expected output: excavation, loading, grading or material handling. An equipment name alone does not define the job. Include the working dimensions, ground conditions and any attachments anticipated so the machine and operator can be assessed together.

Check the whole working route
Measure the entrance, turns and overhead clearance, then show the space needed to operate. The route’s surface and loading capacity matter alongside width. Explain where delivery vehicles can stand and whether plant will move between separate working areas.
Agree the attendance and output
A useful proposal states the work, operator attendance, machine movements and assumptions about loading or support. Identify who controls the work area, locates services and coordinates other trades. If muck-away is needed, its vehicles and loading cycle must be considered with the plant.
Send a useful plant brief
Send the site postcode, task description, access measurements, photographs and target dates. Add estimated quantities and plans where available. Tell us whether you need an operated machine for a defined task or a wider excavation package with haulage and groundworkers.
